【摘要】:Theethanol-tolueneextractofwoodconsistsofthesolublematerialsnotgenerallyconsideredpartofthewoodpolymericstructure.Theyareprimarilythewaxes,fats,resins,andsomegums,aswellassomewater-solublesubstances.Theamountsareinfluencedbyseasoninganddrying.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheethanol-toluenesolublecontentofwood,whichisameasureofthewaxes,fats,resins,andoils,plustanninsandcertainotherether-insolublecomponents.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoconsultandestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Specificprecautionarystatementsaregivenin4.1.
