【摘要】:ThispartofBS7291specifiesgeneralrequirementsandmethodsoftestforcross-linkedpolyethylene(PE-X)pipeandfittingsystemsintendedforusewithinbuildingsfortheconveyanceofcoldwater,includingdrinkingwater,andheatedwaterforuseindomestichotandcoldwaterdistributionandheatinginstallations.TheserequirementssupplementthegeneralrequirementsinBS7291-1whicharealsoapplicableThisBritishStandardspecifiesgeneralrequirementsformaterialstobeusedfororintheformofPE?Xpipes,withorwithoutabarrierlayerorassociatedfittingsandcomponents.ParticularrequirementsarealsospecifiedforPE-Xpipealoneorjointedwithpush-fitandcompressionfittingsconformingtoBS7291orotherBritishStandardsintendedforusewithpipesconformingtothispart.ThispartofBS7291providesforpipesdimensionedtosuittwoestablishedmetricseries:BSISO4065forthermoplasticspipesgenerallyandBSEN1057forcompatibilitywithcopperpipeworksystemswidelyusedfortheseapplications.
